{"id":450,"date":"2013-12-13T22:16:17","date_gmt":"2013-12-14T04:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calon.ca\/Wordpress\/?p=450"},"modified":"2013-12-13T22:16:17","modified_gmt":"2013-12-14T04:16:17","slug":"it-will-be-fixed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.calon.ca\/Wordpress\/?p=450","title":{"rendered":"It will be fixed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In some respects, building something gives you knowledge of how something goes together.<\/p>\n<p>It also (hopefully) gives you knowledge of how to repair it.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the cold outside, the non-functioning humidifier on the furnace and the fact the basement is warmer now than in the summer led to another rather nasty kink in a really unfortunate spot:  Parksville Junction.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calon.ca\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/20131213-211117.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.calon.ca\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/20131213-211117.jpg\" alt=\"20131213-211117.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full colorbox-450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This shot, taken from above, illustrates what happens when things aren&#8217;t allowed to breathe.<\/p>\n<p>The last time this happened, at the ballast spur turnout on the lower deck, I cut the rails and they managed to straighten themselves out.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, this didn&#8217;t happen here.  After cutting some gaps, the rails did not return to where they should.
